The1962 Minnesota Attorney General election was held on 6 November 1962 in order to elect theattorney general of Minnesota.Democratic–Farmer–Labor (DFL) nominee andincumbent attorney generalWalter Mondale defeated theRepublican nominee,Robert Lowe Kunzig.[1]
On the election day, 6 November 1962,Democratic–Farmer–Labor (DFL) nomineeWalter Mondale won re-election by a margin of 236,162 votes against his opponentRepublican nominee,Robert Lowe Kunzig, thereby retaining Democratic–Farmer–Labor control over the office of attorney general. Mondale was sworn in for his second full term on 8 January 1963.[2]
