The1959 North Dakota Fighting Sioux football team, also known as theNodaks, was anAmerican football team that represented theUniversity of North Dakota in theNorth Central Conference (NCC) during the1959 college football season. In its third year under head coachMarvin C. Helling, the team compiled a 2–5–1 record (1–4–1 against NCC opponents), finished in sixth place out of seven teams in the NCC, and was outscored by a total of 166 to 112.[1] The team played its home games atMemorial Stadium inGrand Forks, North Dakota.
