The1959Memorial Cup final was the 41stjunior ice hockey championship of theCanadian Amateur Hockey Association. TheGeorge Richardson Memorial Trophy championsPeterborough TPT Petes of theOntario Hockey Association inEastern Canada competed against theAbbott Cup championsWinnipeg Braves of theManitoba Junior Hockey League inWestern Canada. In a best-of-seven series, held at theWinnipeg Arena inWinnipeg,Manitoba and atWheat City Arena inBrandon, Manitoba, Winnipeg won their 1st Memorial Cup, defeating Peterborough 4 games to 1.
