The1954 Maryland comptroller election was held on 2 November 1954 in order to elect thecomptroller of Maryland.Democratic nominee andincumbent comptrollerJ. Millard Tawes won re-election as he ran unopposed.[1]

On election day, 2 November 1954,Democratic nomineeJ. Millard Tawes won re-election as he ran unopposed, thereby retaining Democratic control over the office of comptroller. Tawes was sworn in for his fourth overall term on 3 January 1955.[2]
