The1952USA Indoor Track and Field Championships were organized by theAmateur Athletic Union (AAU) and served as thenational championships in indoortrack and field for theUnited States.
The men's edition was held atMadison Square Garden inNew York City, New York, and it took place February 16. The women's meet was held separately at theConnecticut Street Armory inBuffalo, New York, taking place March 15.[1][2]
At the championships,Don Gehrmann set a new1000 yards indoor world record, breakingJohn Borican's mark.[3][4][5][6]
