The1952 All-America college football team is composed ofcollege football players who were selected asAll-Americans by various organizations and writers that choseAll-America college football teams in 1952. The eight selectors recognized by theNCAA as "official" for the 1952 season are (1) theAssociated Press , (2) theUnited Press , (3) the All-America Board, (4) theAmerican Football Coaches Association (AFCA), (5) theFootball Writers Association of America (FWAA), (6) theInternational News Service (INS), (7) theNewspaper Enterprise Association (NEA), and (8) theSporting News .
Maryland quarterback Jack Scarbath andNotre Dame halfback Johnny Lattner were the only two players to be unanimously named first-team All-Americans by all eight official selectors. Lattner was awarded the 1953Heisman Trophy .
