The1950 Georgia lieutenant gubernatorial election was held on November 7, 1950, in order to elect thelieutenant governor of Georgia.Democratic nominee andincumbent lieutenant governorMarvin Griffin ran unopposed and subsequently won the election.[1]
The Democraticprimary election was held on June 28, 1950. CandidateMarvin Griffin received a majority of the votes (57.30%), and was thus elected as the nominee for the general election.[2]
