The1950 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship was the 64th staging of the All-Irelandhurling championship since its establishment by theGaelic Athletic Association in 1887. The championship began on 30 April 1950 and ended on 3 September 1950.

Tipperary were thedefending champions, and retained their All-Ireland crown following a 1–9 to 1–8 defeat ofKilkenny.[1]
