The1949 Hardin Indians football team was anAmerican football team that represented Hardin College—now known asMidwestern State University–as a member of theGulf Coast Conference (GCC) during the1949 college football season. Led by second-year head coachBilly Stamps, the Indians compiled an overall record of 10–1 with a mark of 3–0 in conference play, winning the GCC title. Hardin played home games at Coyote Stadium inWichita Falls, Texas.
