The1942 Nebraska lieutenant gubernatorial election was held on November 3, 1942, and featuredRoy W. Johnson, theRepublican nominee, defeatingDemocratic nominee Harry P. Conklin.[1] The incumbent lieutenant governor,William E. Johnson, decided not to seek reelection in order to run forUnited States House of Representatives inNebraska's First District in 1942.[2]
