American college football season
The1940 Utah State Aggies football team was anAmerican football team that representedUtah State Agricultural College in theMountain States Conference (MSC) during the1940 college football season. In their 22nd season under head coachDick Romney, the Aggies compiled a 2–5–1 record (2–4 against MSC opponents), finished sixth in the MSC, and were outscored by a total of 104 to 48.[1][2]
Utah State was ranked at No. 161 (out of 697 college football teams) in the final rankings under theLitkenhous Difference by Score system for 1940.[3]
