The1940 United States presidential election in Oregon took place on November 5, 1940, as part of the1940 United States presidential election. Voters chose five[2] representatives, or electors, to theElectoral College, who voted forpresident andvice president.

Oregon was won byincumbent PresidentFranklin D. Roosevelt (DNew York), running withSecretary of AgricultureHenry A. Wallace, with 53.70% of the popular vote, againstWendell Willkie (RNew York), running withMinority Leader and Oregon senior SenatorCharles L. McNary, with 45.62% of the popular vote.[3][4]

As of the2024 presidential election, this is the last occasion whenMalheur County has voted for a Democratic presidential candidate.[5]
