The1937USA Indoor Track and Field Championships were organized by theAmateur Athletic Union (AAU) and served as thenational championships in indoortrack and field for theUnited States.
The men's edition was held atMadison Square Garden inNew York City, New York, and it took place February 27. The women's meet was held separately at theSt. Louis Coliseum inSt. Louis, Missouri, taking place April 23.[1][2]
Archie San Romani's win in the 1500 m was considered the "greatest upset of the 1937 indoor track and field season". About 16,000 spectators attended the men's edition.[3][4]
