Anita Lizana defeatedJadwiga Jędrzejowska 6–4, 6–2 in the final to win the women's singles tennis title at the1937 U.S. National Championships. The tournament was played on outdoorgrass courts and held from September 2, through September 11, 1937 at theWest Side Tennis Club inForest Hills, Queens, New York.[1] Lizana won the tournament without losing a set.[2][3][4]
