The1930USA Indoor Track and Field Championships were organized by theAmateur Athletic Union (AAU) and served as thenational championships in indoortrack and field for theUnited States.

The men's edition was held atMadison Square Garden inNew York City, New York, and it took place March 18. The women's meet was held separately atBoston Garden inBoston, Massachusetts, taking place April 19.[1][2]

At the championships,Herman Brix of the Los Angeles Athletic Club broke the world record for the indoor 16 pounds (7.3 kg)shot put.[3][4][5][6][7]
