On election day, 4 November 1930,Republican nomineeStafford King won the election by a margin of 125,134 votes against his foremost opponentFarmer–Labor nomineeHenry Teigan, thereby retaining Republican control over the office of state auditor. King was sworn in as the 10thstate auditor of Minnesota on 3 January 1931.[2]
