The1928Memorial Cup final was the tenthjunior ice hockey championship of theCanadian Amateur Hockey Association. TheGeorge Richardson Memorial Trophy champions Ottawa Gunners of theOttawa City Junior Hockey League inEastern Canada competed against theAbbott Cup championsRegina Monarchs of theSouth Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League inWestern Canada. In a best-of-three series, held atArena Gardens andVarsity Arena inToronto,Ontario, Regina won their 1st Memorial Cup, defeating Ottawa 2 games to 1.
