The1926USA Indoor Track and Field Championships were organized by theAmateur Athletic Union (AAU) and served as thenational championships in indoortrack and field for the United States.
The men's championships were held at theChicago Riding Club inChicago, Illinois, and it took place March 8. Women's championships were not officially held until 1927.[1][2]
At the championships,Charlie Hoff andHerbert Schwarze broke world records in thepole vault andshot put.[3][4][5]
