The1919 Maryland comptroller election was held on 4 November 1919 in order to elect thecomptroller of Maryland.Democratic nomineeE. Brooke Lee defeatedRepublican nominee Amos W. W. Woodcock,Socialist nominee John L. Weaver andLabor nominee Louis F. Guillotte.[1]
On election day, 4 November 1919,Democratic nomineeE. Brooke Lee won the election by a margin of 5,562 votes against his foremost opponentRepublican nominee William O. Atwood, thereby retaining Democratic control over the office of comptroller. Lee was sworn in as the 25thcomptroller of Maryland on 3 January 1920.[2]
