The1914 Minnesota State Auditor election was held on 3 November 1914 in order to elect thestate auditor of Minnesota.Republican nomineeJ. A. O. Preus defeatedDemocratic nominee Andrew J. Rush,Socialist nominee Timothy A. Thompson andProgressive nominee Will Curtis.[1]
On election day, 3 November 1914,Republican nomineeJ. A. O. Preus won the election by a margin of 89,065 votes against his foremost opponentDemocratic nominee Andrew J. Rush, thereby retaining Republican control over the office of state auditor. Preus was sworn in as the 8thstate auditor of Minnesota on 3 January 1915.[2]
