Baldwin,Socialist nominee Charles B. Backman andProhibition nominee Richard Henry Holme.[1]
On election day, 4 November 1913,Democratic nomineeEmerson Harrington won re-election by a margin of 37,152 votes against his foremost opponentRepublican nominee Oliver Metzerott, thereby retaining Democratic control over the office of comptroller. Harrington was sworn in for his second term on 19 January 1914.[2]
