  1. ^One must exercise caution using the Blue Book as a source for Wisconsin election data for the period of 1890-1920 as it was unreliable during this period. In this case, the Blue Book's totals for Davidson, Cox, Bottema, and Scattering are incorrect and it also contains numerous mistakes in the county figures.
