The1904 Iowa Hawkeyes football team was anAmerican football team that represented the State University of Iowa ("S.U.I."), now commonly known as theUniversity of Iowa, as a member of theWestern Conference during the1904 Western Conference football season. In their second year under head coachJohn Chalmers, the Hawkeyes compiled a 7–4 record (0–3 in conference games), finished in a three-way tie for last place in the Western Conference, and outscored opponents by a total of 251 to 109.[1]

The team played its home games atIowa Field inIowa City, Iowa.
