Heinrich Kuhl publishesConspectus Psittacorum. Cum specierum definitionibus, novarum descriptionibus, synonymis et circa patriam singularum naturalem adversariis, adjecto indice museorum, urbi earum artificiosae exuviae servantur. Bonn (also in Nova Acta Acad. Caes. Leop.-Carol. Nat. Cur. Vol.X). In this work he described many new parrot species. Among them are thered-capped parrot, thewhite-bellied parrot theUn-cape parrot, thevulturine parrot theshort-tailed parrot thewestern rosella theblue-winged parrot thescaly-breasted lorikeet thescaly-headed parrot thegolden-tailed parrotlet thenorthern rosella theblack-collared lovebird and thevinaceous-breasted amazon^[2]
