Annual US media awards ceremony
17th AnnualGLAAD Media Awards (2006) were presented at four separate ceremonies: March 27 inNew York City ; April 8 at theKodak Theatre inLos Angeles ;[ 1] May 25 inMiami ; and June 10 inSan Francisco . The awards honor films, television shows, musicians and works of journalism that fairly, accurately and inclusively represent the LGBT community and issues relevant to the community.
