  • April 29 – French troops retake the city ofGenoa after a seven-day siege, defeating rebels who had taken control in July 1506.[2]: 83–84 
  • May 14 – In Italy, KingLouis XII departs from Genoa[3]: 85  and makes a triumphant entry intoMilan on May 24.
  • June 28 – KingFerdinand II of Aragon is welcomed by Louis XII at the Italian city ofSavona in a spectacular ceremony,[4] and the two monarchs begin a series of meetings on the division of the Italian kingdoms between France and Spain.[5]
