The112th Regiment of Foot was aninfantry regiment of theBritish Army from 1794 to 1795. It was raised in July 1794 and stationed inIreland.
In 1795 it was to be posted to theCaribbean to take part in aBritish invasion of Saint-Domingue. The invasion had already suffered heavy losses toyellow fever. On hearing of the plan, soldiers of the regiment rioted.[1]
The regiment was disbanded in 1795.[2]
