11-Dehydrocorticosterone (11-DHC), also known as11-oxocorticosterone or17-deoxycortisone, as well as21-hydroxypregn-4-ene-3,11,20-trione, is anaturally occurring,endogenouscorticosteroid related tocortisone andcorticosterone.[1] It is a potentmineralocorticoid, with generally greater such activity than that of corticosterone.[1]
