1. FC Köln Frauen is a Germanwomen's football club based inCologne,North Rhine-Westphalia, currently competing in theBundesliga, the top flight ofGerman football.
The club existed since July 2009 whenFFC Brauweiler Pulheim dissolved their club to join1. FC Köln. In their first season in2009–10, they managed to come in third in the2. Bundesliga.[1] They achieved promotion to theBundesliga in 2015.[2] The team is coached by Daniel Weber.[3]
