The letterƮ (minuscule:ʈ), calledT with retroflexhook, is a letter of theLatin alphabet based on the lettert. It is used to represent avoiceless retroflex plosive in theInternational Phonetic Alphabet, and is used in some alphabets ofAfrican languages.[clarification needed] Aligature of ʈ with h was part of theInitial Teaching Alphabet to represent thevoiceless dental fricative.
The majuscule and the minuscule are located at U+01AE and U+0288 inUnicode, respectively.
