Łubcze[ˈwupt͡ʂɛ] is avillage in the administrative district ofGmina Jarczów, withinTomaszów Lubelski County,Lublin Voivodeship, in eastern Poland.[1]
According to the1921 census, the village with the adjacentcolony had a population of 415, 88.9%Polish and 11.1%Ukrainian.[2]
Following the German-Sovietinvasion of Poland, which startedWorld War II in September 1939, the village wasoccupied by Germany until 1944. On 5 April 1944, theUkrainian Insurgent Army committed a massacre of 90 Poles and 26 Ukrainians in the village.[3]
