İzzettin Çalışlar (1882 – 20 August 1951) was an officer of theOttoman Army and a general of theTurkish Army. He is known for his achievements in theGallipoli campaign ofWorld War I. He later joined the forces ofMustafa Kemal and fought in theTurkish War of Independence. He also served as a politician and was a prominent member of theKemalist movement.
