
TheĐurđevi Stupovi Monastery (Serbian:Манастир Ђурђеви ступови,romanized: Manastir Đurđevi stupovi,lit. "Monastery of the Pillars of St. George") is aSerbian Orthodoxmonastery near the town ofBerane, in northeasternMontenegro. It was founded byStefan Prvoslav, the nephew of Stefan Nemanja, in 1213. Since 2019, it was the cathedral monastery of theEparchy of Budimlja,[1] until the end of the 17th century. Today, it is the cathedral monastery of the Serbian OrthodoxEparchy of Budimlje-Nikšić in Montenegro.[2]
