Éric Vuillard (French pronunciation:[eʁikvɥijaʁ]; 4 May 1968, Lyon) is a French writer and film director.[1] He has made two films,L'homme qui marche andMateo Falcone, the latter based on the storyMateo Falcone byProsper Merimee. He is the author ofConquistadors (2009) which won thePrix de l'inaperçu in 2010. He won thePrix Goncourt in 2017 forL'Ordre du jour.[2][3]
