Çatalada,a.k.a.Çatal Ada, (formerly known asVolo) (37°00′10″N27°12′50″E / 37.00278°N 27.21389°E /37.00278; 27.21389) is a Turkish island located in theAegean Sea, 3 miles (5 kilometres) off the town Turgutreis, west ofBodrumpeninsula in southwestern Turkey. An island with three conical hills, its name means literally "fork island".

At the past it was one of the Xenagorou islands (Ancient Greek:Ξεναγόρου νῆσοι).[1]

The island's main economy istourism, as cruises from the mainland are regular. It is also a popularscuba diving place.

Neighbouring islands in close distance are Topan Adası, Çoban Adası and Yassıada.
