Ángela Daniela Barón (born 18 September 2003) is a professionalfootballer who plays as acentre-back for FrenchPremière Ligue clubLe Havre. Born in the United States, she plays for theColombia women's national team.[1][2][3][4]
On 20 August 2024, Barón was announced atRacing Louisville FC on a three year contract.[5] She spent one year at Louisville before mutually terminating her contract with the club in September 2025. She had made one NWSL appearance for Racing, a 12-minute cameo in Louisville's final match of 2024.[6]
On 21 October 2025, Barón signed for French clubLe Havre.[7]
Born to an American father and Colombian mother,[8] Barón was eligible to represent Colombia and the United States at the international level. Eventually selecting Colombia, she made her international debut in a friendly against theEcuador on 13 April 2021.[9] On 3 July 2022, she was called up byNelson Abadía to representColombia at the2022 Copa América Femenina.[10]
On 4 July 2023, Barón was called up to the Colombia squad for the2023 FIFA Women's World Cup.[11] In February 2024, she was named to the Colombia squad for the2024 CONCACAF W Gold Cup.[12] Later that year, she was called up to the Colombia squad for the2024 Summer Olympics.[13]
