given that this is about python3, theprint "Hello, world!" couldn't be more inappropriate as this is a SyntaxError in python3. someone with svg skills please change it toprint("Hello, world!"). --R4HdF5ns4L31dM (talk)16:53, 23 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

I just did this change now --Baijum81 (discusscontribs)12:31, 18 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Parentheses

[edit source]

When typing over the code as given, including parentheses ( ) i do not get the results as given under the code. When leaving out those parentheses however the results are as to be expected, and shown. What is my problem?Janno2 (discusscontribs)10:38, 29 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

If you are talking about parentheses after print it looks like you try to execute examples for python version 3 (from this book) with python interpreter version 2.x

Alternative PDF version

[edit source]

It is not in sync with this version (since it is written in LaTeX instead of wikitext), buthttp://jjc.freeshell.org/easytut3/easytut3.pdf might be a better version for printing.Jrincayc (discusscontribs)18:18, 17 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

Sets and tuples

[edit source]

Just wondering, why doesn't the book have sections about sets and tuples?Adrianmn1110 (discusscontribs)10:27, 16 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
