Strays are undead mobs that carry a bow andtipped arrows, and are bent on your destruction.
Undead
This mob isundead, and takes additional damage from weapons with thesmite enchantment. This mob is healed by potions of harming and damaged by potions of healing.
Sunlight: burn
This mob burns in sunlight unless it is wearing a helmet or has the "Fire Risistance" buff.
These horrors carry bows and shoot at you. They are attacked bywolves, and will run from them. As they run, they will try to shoot at it.
