Featured Articles are articles the wiki's users deem to be of the highest quality and should be held up as an example for other articles. Articles arenominated for this status below. Users then review the nominees for content, style, completeness, and overall quality and place their vote.

A gallery of older Featured Articles can be foundhere. Similarly, the archives of previous nominations can be foundhere. Note that not all failed nominations are included. High-quality images can be nominated for featured status atFeatured Images.

Featured Article Process

Nomination

Any registered member (once autoconfirmed) can nominate any article at any time. Nominated articles should be of high quality and meet the wiki'sstyle guidelines. They will frequently be recently completed articles or articles that have just undergone a substantial rewrite, but older articles are also suitable candidates.

To nominate an article, list it on the bottom of this page with a three-tier heading,(===Example===), and briefly explain why you think the article should be given featured status.

Voting

After an article has been nominated, any registered member (once autoconfirmed) can vote tosupport oroppose each nomination. Each member can only vote once for a given article, but a member may change their vote by striking out the original vote and replacing it with the revised vote.

To vote on an article, state whether yousupport oroppose the article for featured article status. A vote should be in bold, and all votes must be signed. For example:
* '''Support''': <Comment> --~~~~or
* '''Oppose''': <Comment> --~~~~

Commenting with your vote is optional, but if youoppose a nomination, please state how the article must be improved to get your support for featured status.

If you are not yet ready to vote but would still like to add your thoughts, you may use:

* '''Comment''': <Comment> --~~~~or
* '''Question''': <Question> --~~~~

And fill in your concerns or questions.

Decisions

UESPAdministrators will periodically make decisions on article nominations. Decisions will only be made if:

  • The article has been nominated for more than seven days.
  • Five or more votes have been placed.
  • A clear consensus has been reached (eithersupported oropposed for featured status).

Nominations not meeting these criteria will be left open until a decision can be reached or it becomes clear that there will be no consensus, even if voting is left open.

Articles whose nominations pass will receive featured article status on the front page for at least two weeks and receive a small bronze star (Featured star.svg) on the top right corner. If an article achieves featured status before the present featured article's two weeks expire, it must wait its turn.

Skyrim:A Night To Remember

This quest page covers everything needed without being too long of a walkthrough. It has several high-quality screenshots, breaks up the walkthrough into clear sections, highlights the essential decision-making dialogue, and has a complete notes and bugs section. The only issue I see is one unconfirmed bug, but it's hard to fault the page for that; perhaps someone can confirm it soon.

Lore:Emeric

Comparing how the pageused to be, Emeric's page has underwent a significant overhaul. I've added all relevant lore I could to his page. Also tried out that new template for when a person has more than one title, and I think it looks good. Thanks everyone as well that has helped contribute to the page.

Lore:Kaladas

TheImperial Saints are a lesser-known topic, and Saint Kaladas was a relatively minor figure prior to getting the full Chapter treatment with ESO's 2021 Blackwood release. The article has a good mix of imagery, cultural info, and history. It would be great if more lore articles on Imperial religion could look like this.

  • Support: Good article but I have one qualm about the History section, it talks about what happened before and after Kaladas' lifetime, but it seems to missing any detail from during his lifetime. Even one sentence would be fine.The Rim of the Sky (talk) 22:33, 22 November 2024 (UTC)
    • Comment: Moved a sentence out of the intro and into the History section to address this. —Legoless (talk) 13:48, 29 January 2025 (UTC)

Lore:Shadow Dance

A surprisingly thorough article, I came upon it by chance and was surprised by how well-written it is, big shoutout to Gleaming Veil for their work. It deserves to be featured and reach a wider audience.

Lore:Arcanists

Pretty great overview on what the player class in ESO is and isn't. Read it yourself, and you will see common questions answered like "do arcanists have to be necessarily worship mora", or "are arcanist books related to black books", or other things the player base had about the class.

  • Support: As nominator.--Analeah Oaksong (talk) 00:33, 31 January 2025 (UTC)
  • Support: I'm a bit biased but fully support. Love Arcanists and the article is pretty much complete excluding any possibly missing flavour ESO treasure item descriptionsIthelia (talk) 07:05, 31 January 2025 (UTC)

Online:Coldharbour Elite Guard

This article has had a LOT of work put into it over the years. These enemies were long considered some of the most dangerous in the game, and were also randomly spawned in all across the sewers, so for a long time we didn't have much of any info on them, given that players didn't want to brutally die to figure out their attacks. Gradually we've managed to get pictures and information on all of them, turning it into a full-fledged guide. The comprehensive coverage, combined with the clever and effective use of images mixed into the sections, it is a superb candidate for featured status.

  • Support: I have basically finished updating it, therefore I am absolutely not biaised in any way to support its featuring (: --BixenteN7Akantor (talk) 20:28, 4 March 2025 (UTC)
  • Weak Oppose: A minor nitpick perhaps, but the layout isn't quite right on this page. The table of contents has a bunch of blank space on either side, and the frameless right/left alternating images in the Skills and Abilities section are non-standard and lead to inconsistent text wrapping. Personally I think normal thumbnails with a description of what each image is meant to depict would be more useful. —Legoless (talk) 10:22, 5 March 2025 (UTC) —Legoless (talk) 15:36, 8 July 2025 (UTC)

Lore:Hermaeus Mora

A thorough overview of Hermaeus Mora, one of the most popular of the Daedric Princes. Gleaming Veil has detailed many topics like factions and has documented on the page Hermaeus Mora's involvement in Necrom and the Gold Road Chapters. Not only that, but they also delved into the more esoteric stuff like Hermaeus's involvement in fate. Since Gleaming Veil has started editing the wiki, they have updated many pages to be high quality, and they are a great editor.

Lore:Ithelia

I was not sure if I should have nominated this one or the Hermaeus Mora page instead. Gleaming Veil also did great edits on this page and this one looks like this it is thorough as well, with Necrom and Gold Road documented.--Analeah Oaksong (talk) 03:58, 28 August 2025 (UTC)

  • Oppose: I haven't had the time to fully review this article, but each time I look at it I spot grammar/wording that needs tweaking. It is a very substantial article and a great first draft, but it needs a second pass to achieve FA status. —Legoless (talk) 10:42, 8 September 2025 (UTC)
    • Comment: I trimmed down some of the content as some of the paragraphs were pretty large, changed some wording, and changed some and trimmed some photos. Are there any specific places that need to be improved on?--Analeah Oaksong (talk) 02:39, 19 December 2025 (UTC)

Lore:Mannimarco

Mannimarco has appeared in or has been mentioned in most Elder Scrolls games, and a lot of work has been put into page this page to reflect that. Various sources were utilized to showcase his involvement in major events across the series, and has been done in a way to reconcile various potentially contradicting lore sources for Mannimarco's timeline. Included are mainline titles, spin offs like Betrayal of the Second Era, and additional supplemental materials like developer interviews and the Prima game guide to present the full picture on the impact Mannimarco has had on the setting.

Thank you everyone that assisted in making sure this page is great, and provided their contributions to it as well. Thebefore and after is notable.

Some notable things that have have been expanded upon include notating his early history that is shrouded in mystery, expanding his relationship with Vanus Galerion with Solstice material, his revival of necromancy from obscurity, and highlighting Mannimarco's political prowess. The content relevant to him from the recent Seasons of the Worm Cult was added to his page shortly after it hit live servers.
