Azercell continues supporting the engagement ofchildren with disabilities in sports and fostering their furtherintegration into society.
The country's leading mobile operator, Azercell Telecom LLC, andthe National Paralympic Committee of Azerbaijan have reaffirmedtheir long-standing partnership through a new cooperationagreement. Under this initiative, around 120 children withdisabilities will have the opportunity to participate in Paralympicsports — including para table tennis, para powerlifting, paraswimming, para judo, and para taekwondo — throughout the year.
Since 2014, Azercell has been committed to supporting thedevelopment of the Children's Paralympic Movement, promotinginclusive sports, and enabling young athletes to unlock their fullpotential. This ongoing collaboration has provided hundreds ofchildren with access to sports, significantly contributing to theexpansion of the Children's Paralympic Committee’s activities.
Beyond strengthening the Paralympic movement in Azerbaijan, thisinitiative positively impacts the physical and psychologicalwell-being of children, fostering self-confidence, motivation, andgreater social integration. Azercell remains dedicated toempowering individuals through sports, reinforcing its commitmentto a more inclusive and supportive society.
