Foreign Embassies to Join Jakarnaval 2019

TEMPO.CO,Jakarta - A number of foreign embassies in Indonesia will join theJakarnaval2019 parade with the theme “The New Face of Jakarta” as part of Jakarta’s 492 Anniversary Celebration to be held Sunday, June 30, 2019.
“There will be several parade floats of foreign embassies, such as from Morocco and South Korea, that are scheduled to join the parade of Jakarnaval,” the Head of Destination and Marketing Jakarta Tourism Office Hari Wibowo told ANTARA in Jakarta, Saturday.
The embassies of Belgium, Pakistan, Japan, and Australia will join the parade as well.
Since the success of last year’s show, Jakarnaval will remain an annual parade organised by the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism, which is expected to boost the tourism sector, Wibowo stated.
“Next year, it will be possible for travel agents to promote and sell tourism packages,” Wibowo added.
With this connection, the event will receive more publicity as the result of the cooperation betweenJakartaAdministration and Ministry of Tourism.
