  1. A soft, thinflatbread made with flour, water, yeast, and salt, baked in atandoor. Toasted sesame seeds and/or poppy seeds are sometimes sprinkled on it before baking. Traditionally made in Armenia and other countries of the Caucasus and the Middle East.
