Usage notes
edit- In the classic three-grade system, aquí is second grade and thus means “there”; in systems that make no distinction between the first and second grades, aquí supplantsací, thus taking on the additional meaning of “here”.
In Valencian systems,ahí rather thanaquí is used for the second grade whileaquí is used for the first grade alongsideací in various northern and southern dialects.
