TheWest Pauwasi languages are a likelyfamily ofPapuan languages spoken on the Indonesian side ofNew Guinea. They may either form part of a largerPauwasi language family along with theEastern Pauwasi languages, or it they could form an independent language family (or more than one family).[1]
