UFC 132 was originally set to feature a rematch betweenB.J. Penn andJon Fitch, but both were forced to withdraw because of injuries.[4]

Evan Dunham was expected to faceGeorge Sotiropoulos at the event,[5] but was forced off the card with an injury and replaced byRafael dos Anjos.[6]

Jason Miller was scheduled to faceAaron Simpson at this event.[7] However, Miller was removed from the card after accepting a coaching position onThe Ultimate Fighter 14, and replaced byBrad Tavares.[8]

Cub Swanson was expected to faceErik Koch at this event, but was forced from the bout with an injury.[9] Koch was instead moved toUFC Fight Night 25 to take onJonathan Brookins.[10]
