Tonya (Ancient Greek:Thoania, Θωανία;Ottoman Turkish:طﻮﻧﻴﻪ, romanized asTonya) is a municipality anddistrict ofTrabzon Province,Turkey.[2] Its area is 176 km2,[3] and its population is 13,457 (2022).[1] The mayor is Osman Beşel (AKP).
