Tarmatambo[1][2] orTarmatampu[2] (possibly fromTarma an ethnic group,Quechuatampu inn)[3] is an archaeological site in theJunín Region inPeru. It is located in theTarma Province,Tarma District, in the community of the same name. The site was declared a National Cultural Heritage byResolución Directoral Nacional No. 040/INC on January 29, 2002.[1]
