I am writing on behalf of Yukon Blonde (I work for the management company that represents them). There are many page changes that need to be made ASAP.
It would be great if we could change the body to something like this:
Yukon Blonde is a Canadian indie rock band based in Vancouver, British Columbia. Since 2008 Yukon Blonde has toured around the world – from the plains of Canada to the white sandy beaches of Australia - churning out sugar-spiked rock songs to welcoming fans. The band is currently signed to Dine Alone Records and managed by Nevado Music.
Their most recent release Tiger Talk (2012), garnered them heavy praise and a multitude of accolades including a JUNO nomination for Breakthrough Group Of The Year as well as a spot on the Long List for the coveted Polaris Prize.
The current body is inaccurate.
Also** quick notes:
- the band is from Vancouver NOT Kelowna
- They've been active since 2009 NOT 2005
- Any mention of AlphaBaby shouldn't exist
- John-Rae Fletcher should not be given credit
- We need to remove all reference to accolades received in 2010 - the band has grown since then.
- Is it possible to remove all former members as well?
- We'd also like to update the photo
Please let me know how to go about these edits. It's really important that we're able to update this page.
Thank you.— Precedingunsigned comment added by50.100.252.229 (talk) 21:19, 5 March 2015
- Hello and thank you for making your requests on the talk page; that is much appreciated. The article could definitely use some of the updates you suggest, such as the Juno and Polaris nominations. May I ask, what is the rationale for removing everything about Alphababy from the article? Articles such asthis andthis one and the band's pages such asthis one do highlight how the band grew out of Kelowna's Alphababy. Please note that all content must meet Wikipedia's policy on verifiability – seeWP:V.
If you have a photo that is not subjected to copyright, please upload it toWikimedia Commons (use "Upload file" from the menu on the left) and then let us know here. Thanks,Paul Erik(talk)(contribs)01:59, 6 March 2015 (UTC)Reply
