editThe article is perilously obseqious, and is missing sourcing. Much of it reads as if its lifted from a company bio. This isn't good -- much of the information doesn't have any sourcing. I strongly suspect there are many legitimate sources that could support the article.842U (talk) 11:40, September 5, 2018 (UTC)
The Cybertruck was heavily influenced by Syd Mead. I added a section, which someone removed as "undue weight."I feel it belongs in the article. The Cybertruck was a huge pop culture reference to Mead right before his death, and the one that will likely be in the public light in the coming few years. But I don't want to start an edit war. Here's the part I wrote (properly sourced with Wiki markup), please take a look and see if it should be in the article:https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Syd_Mead&type=revision&diff=933502563&oldid=933502389ElizaBarrington (talk)19:43, 1 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

"Mead's one-man shows began in 1973 with an exhibit at documenta 6 in Kassel, West Germany. " - this is at least misleading, documenta 6 was 1977 (not 1973). Not sure what "one-man show" is supposed to mean here either. And finally this whole section appears to consist of unrelated and unstructured paragraphs ... Anyway, at least the year should be fixed, I did find a number of articles quoting this ("Syd Mead ... documenta 6 ... in 1973"). Sadly there's not much to be found about what he actually exhibited, though.— Precedingunsigned comment added byJcnolte (talk •contribs)12:27, 6 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
