Style.

This could use a rewrite for "professional tone". --200.141.105.21014:38, 8 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

I've tried to clean it up a bit, but it really needs attention from someone who's seen the film. --Stephen Burnett17:41, 3 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
What it needs, is a description of the director's difficulties in securing funds from producers and production companies. That would really help round out the article.

An error.

edit

TheScenes from a Marriage article states that "although in Saraband the characters are again called Johann and Marianne, it is not a sequel." The Saraband article states that it IS a sequel.

Fair use rationale for Image:Bscap071.jpg

edit

Image:Bscap071.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used underfair use but there is noexplanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to theboilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent withfair use.

Please go tothe image description page and edit it to include afair use rationale. Using one of the templates atWikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described oncriteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at theMedia copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot16:16, 1 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

File:Saraband.jpg Nominated for speedy Deletion

edit

An image used in this article,File:Saraband.jpg, has been nominated for speedy deletion for the following reason:Wikipedia files with no non-free use rationale as of 7 November 2011

What should I do?

Don't panic; you should have time to contest the deletion (although please reviewdeletion guidelines before doing so). The best way to contest this form of deletion is by posting on the image talk page.

  • If the image isnon-free then you may need to provide afair use rationale
  • If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale, then it cannot be uploaded or used.
  • If the image has already been deleted you may want to tryDeletion Review
